White City Place is set to welcome two fitness studios targeted at the area’s burgeoning community of residents and workers.
Studio Lagree and F45 have each signed up for 4,000 sq ft of space in the WestWorks building, which is due to complete in July this year. The lettings come after ITV studios confirmed it is moving to White City, taking around 27,000 sq ft of office space in WestWorks and approximately 11,500 sq ft of state-of-the-art studios at Television Centre.
Studio Lagree is a pilates-based workout designed by Sebastien Lagree that incorporates the latest M3 MegaformerTM machines – a system of resistance and counter-resistance used to place muscles under constant tension. The White City branch will be the brand’s third in London and its tenth globally, with locations in Canada, the USA and Germany.
F45 was founded in Australia in 2012 and now boasts 100,000 members worldwide. Group sessions are based around fun and innovative high intensity workouts, incorporating fitness-based technology. The group chose White City as its third London base and has exciting expansion plans to emulate the success in Australia and the USA.
Robert Lepone, Managing Director of Studio Lagree (UK) said: “Our latest location will feature the Lagree Fitness Method, using 16 patented Megaformers, and our Studio KO box-fit format. This location provides us with a footprint that spans the London area and enables our clients to visit all three studios”
Rob Deutsch, founder of F45, said: “The F45 ethos of fostering community through personal achievement is an ideal fit with White City Place, blurring the lines between work and play, and recognising that success is inextricably linked to how we feel about where we work.”
WestWorks will provide over 290,000 sq ft of dynamic office space, with a WiFi-enabled co-working reception and bright, modern floors overlooking central gardens and terraces.
