Pergola on the Roof has returned to the rooftop of Television Centre following its highly successful run over the summer.
Set 100-feet-high at the top of the former BBC staff car park, Pergola on the Roof returns to White City with some of London’s most exciting restaurants and seating for 600 guests under a canopy of holly and ivy.
Open for lunch and dinner until 23 December, the winter version of the popular rooftop event features silver birch trees, low level lighting, blankets and candle light to create a Nordic-themed piece of “wintry escapism”.
First launched in May as the biggest temporary pergola in Europe, Pergola on the Roof’s summer-long eatery at Television Centre was extended to October due to its enormous success. The Mediterranean-themed event offered deliciously designed, bespoke menus in partnership with some of London’s finest restaurants, including award-winning charcuterie and bar Salt Yard, Caribbean beach shack eatery Rum Kitchen, and “wild and foraged food” restaurant Rabbit.
Pergola on the Roof Winter is the latest in a line of pop-up events to take place at Television Centre.
