Mitsui Fudosan celebrated the completion of One Angel Court at a formal reception with the Japanese Ambassador on 23 February.
The 24-storey glass building in the heart of London’s financial district – Mitsui Fudosan’s third development in the City of London – is the first tower to complete in 2017.
Designed by architects Fletcher Priest, the translucent tower will provide 300,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation across six lower Garden Floors which benefit from large floorplates and outdoor terraces, and 18 upper Sky Floors featuring generous ceiling heights and uninterrupted 360-degree views of the London skyline.
The scheme is also set to rejuvenate the surrounding streetscape with a high-quality and unique retail and dining offer. In October 2016, Mitsui Fudosan confirmed lettings with three major dining brands Coya, Natural Kitchen and Notes, who will all open this spring. The final unit has been let to tandoori-style barbecue restaurant Temper.
Speaking at the reception, Eiichiro Onozawa, Managing Director of Mitsui Fudosan UK, paid tribute to all those involved in the development and reiterated the company’s commitment to “creating the right product” which meets the aspirations of modern businesses and provides value to the local community.
